Vukovich, Commercial Leasing
Natalie is a leader in the Canadian field of commercial leasing
lawyers. In January, 1995 Natalie co-founded the firm of Daoust Vukovich
LLP. She has been named in Lexpert's Guide to the Leading 500
Lawyers in Canada every year since it was first published.
Natalie practises exclusively in the area of commercial leasing. She is
fully conversant with all types of commercial property lease transactions
as well as with all types of arrangements for use of building-related
telecommunication facilities and services. Her practice is evenly
balanced between representing landlords and tenants.
Natalie was Chair (and before that, Vice Chair) of Government Relations
for the Canadian Division Committee of the International Council of
Shopping Centers from 1999 to 2003. She co-chaired the ICSC's 1994 and
1995 Annual Canadian Law Conferences. Natalie was Co-Chair of the
inaugural (2002) RealLeasing conference now held annually in Toronto. She
has written for many publications and has lectured at numerous
conferences hosted by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar
Association (Ontario), Osgoode Law School, Insight Educational Services,
Lexpert and Spectrum Seminars.
Natalie received a B.Sc. (Mathematics) from Laurentian University in 1980
and her LL.B. from Dalhousie University in 1983. She was called to the
Ontario bar in 1985. Natalie is married and is the mother of three
children. Natalie is a member of the Board of Directors of Women's
College Health Research.
